A French Cultural History Excursion
August 11th - 17th (7 Days and 6 Nights)

“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” - ERNEST HEMINGWAY

A cultural feast awaits scholars who elect to continue on to Paris. Prior to departure there will be an orientation meeting. Private air-conditioned coaches will depart from Cambridge with scholars, Director and staff. These coaches will be at our disposal during the entire stay in Paris. Departing from Dover by ferry, crossing the English Channel to the coast of France, and landing in Calais, we will continue our coach journey through Normandy to Paris, arriving at our hotel in Montmartre in early evening.

Scholars will have maps and their syllabus materials provided for visits to museums, so masterpieces, such as the Mona Lisa, may be easily located. Scholars do not need a knowledge of French to fully appreciate their visit to France. A certificate of attendance is given to each scholar.

“Our daughters Alexandra and Danielle attended the Programme. The reaction of both was the same: the weeks at Cambridge were some of the most interesting (and fun-filled) in their lives. The side trips to Bath, Stonehenge, the Tower of London and Warwick Castle were just cultural bonuses to the courses they took. Our third daughter is next in line for the Programme. We highly recommend the Cambridge College Programme to any parent who has a student in high school who might want to go on to a good university.” - EDWARD and DEBORAH SUNTRUP - Winnetka, Illinois
